Privacy policy
The short version: nothing about you is recorded on our servers, your images live only in your own browser, and we never collect, track or sell any user data. Not now, not later, not to anyone.

Nothing about you is recorded on our servers
No account, no profile, no upload history. We keep no record of who you are or what you make.
Your images stay in your own browser
Your icon is drawn and autosaved on your own device. A conversion passes through our server in memory for a fraction of a second and is discarded — never written to disk.
No collection, no tracking, no selling
No analytics, no ad trackers, no third-party scripts. We do not collect, share or sell any user data — to anyone, ever.

What we process
Only what a conversion needs, only for as long as it takes.
IconEditor is a tool, not a service that keeps your files. Drawing happens entirely in your browser, on your own device. Only three actions involve our server at all — importing an image, scaling a size and exporting an .ICO — and in each case the image data is converted in memory, returned to you and discarded in the same instant.
We never write uploaded images to disk, never keep copies, and never look at their content beyond what the conversion itself requires. There is no upload history and no way for us to retrieve an image after it has been returned to you.

Where your data actually lives
- Your browser, not our server. Your work-in-progress icon is autosaved in your own browser's local storage so you can come back later. It never leaves your device, is never sent to or stored on our server, and you can clear it at any time from your browser's site-data settings.
- Two functional cookies, nothing else.
iconeditor_sessionkeeps the language of your current visit and expires after an hour of inactivity;iconeditor_langis written only when you pick a language from the "Switch language" dialog and remembers that choice for a year. Neither contains personal data or is used to identify or track you. - Nothing else. We hold no database of users, images, uploads or activity. Like any web server, ours writes a routine technical access log (IP address, URL, time, browser type) that is used only to keep the service running, is rotated automatically and is never analysed for profiling — and image data never appears in it.

What we do not do
- No collecting. No user accounts, no registration, no e-mail addresses, no forms that ask who you are.
- No tracking. No advertising or analytics trackers, no fingerprinting, no third-party scripts or fonts loaded from other domains — the only server this site talks to is our own.
- No selling or sharing. We do not sell, rent, trade or hand over any user data to anyone. There is nothing to hand over.

Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request — your icon and your settings are already in your own hands, in your own browser. If you have a question about any of this, e-mail [email protected].
